Dylan Thomas Evening. A celebration of the poetry of Dylan Thomas, including a readin of A Child's Christmas in Wales. Bring a selection of your favourite poems by Dylan Thomas to read.

Beat the Blues with our Comic and nonsense Verse evening. Bring your own ligh verse or favourite poesms by other writers.

Ten Liners Adjudication Evening. Frances Wilson will present her report and award prizes to winning poets, including a reading of the winning and short-listed poems.

The Irish Vessel. John Mole will lead this evening dedicated to Irish poetry with a talk and readings in the first half. Bring your own short selection of Irish poetry for the second half.

Poetry writing workship led by Carole Satyamurti on the theme of 'Light'. Bring pen and paper.

Poetry Reading by David van Cauter. David's witty and inventive poetry is sure to make this an enjoyable evening.

St Albans Festival, 2010: Next year the St Albans festival will be a week earlier because of Magna Carta celebrations which will coincide and be incorporated

The following events will be offered as part of St Albans Festival, and will also be included in the festival programme:

As part of St Albans Arts Festival, a well-known poet will be reading from recent and published work. Collected Poems (Bloodaxe) 2004.
