Reading A Flower
Reading a flower can beLike reading a poem, looking closely
At where a petal branches out
From intricate calyx, to take direction
And make a shape
Similar to, yet not exact as
All its brothers, a hundred stamens
Like letters, forming words close packed
Yet different, taking meaning
Deeper and deeper
Through microcosmic layers
Till it discloses
Joy beyond what any words can manage.
